Film-coated tablets.
Administration - enteral tubes / swallowing difficulties
1st choice - Switch to an alternative drug which has a dispersible, liquid, or rectal form, e.g. diclofenac, ibuprofen.
2nd choice - The tablet can be crushed and mixed with water for administration.41 Click here for further information.
Clinical guidance
For short-term use only as aceclofenac is more irritant to the gastrointestinal tract after being crushed.
